Bigfoot, Chewbacca and Ewoks, etc.

Star Wars_Episode_VI:_Return_of_the_Jedi & the Battle of Endor. http://www.ign.com/star-wars-characters/9.html

Is Chewbacca just a fictional character played by a man in a suit?

Chewbacca is such a cool character.
http://wn.com/six_million_dollar_man_vs_sasquatch Sure, a tall large frame person can put on a Bigfoot suit, but that doesn't mean that the suit will be life like.
http://bionic.wikia.com/wiki/The_Secret_of_Bigfoot
Of course today, its more common to use CGI rather than use a Bigfoot costume.

Sometimes it might not be a man in a costume, or a naturally tall & extra hairy person. http://www.bfro.net/leiterman/Bigfoot-rock.htm
There have been several sightings of something that's more than just a man in a monster suit. Bigfoot#Description & in_popular_culture

Bigfoot isn't a wolf man or a regular ape, but a large evasive humanoid being. Thus, such beings remain outside of the general populations range of perception. http://www.nabigfootsearch.com/bigfootmap.html

Most people have never seen these large beings, so it remain in the realm of legends & folklore. http://www.youtube.com/user/c2cam#p/f/24/0WaBoC610Ww

"David Paulides, a former police investigator, has applied his skills to questioning Bigfoot witnesses. The results he has achieved in gaining access to witnesses and getting detailed information from them is both remarkable and intriguing."

There are so many myths & legends about various LARGE humanoid beings throughout the ages.
The peaceful natural look, some men just want to have a more rugged appearance. http://embpod.com
But sometimes the beard is intended to make the man look more intimidating, even ferocious.
Several men like to have a Big beard as well as a full head of hair. Its as if some like to emulate aspects of a bear, sheepdog, wolfman or a ferocious lion man, its all part of their conscious projection. However, for the men that are trapped in extra hairy bodies, it can be very unpleasant. Young people with this condition could grow up being constantly bullied throughout their life. Its one thing to choose to be extra harry, but for some they never get a choice in the matter. Just because some people are different, doesn't mean that they be treated like a carnival attraction to amuse the crowds.

Even today, some men like to sport the caveman look & if they are very tall, perhaps they could be mistaken for a Bigfoot.
http://bionic.wikia.com/wiki/Bigfoot_V Of course this looks more like a caveman.

http://bionic.wikia.com/wiki/Bigfoot Very ferocious looking, nevertheless.

This looks more like a lumberjack or a man lost within a playoff_beard.

Is Bigfoot an offshoot of the caveman or is this a separate spices altogether?
Could there be Bigfoot worlds or something like a Wookiee planet?

Obi-Wan Kenobi could sense some pending future events.
Long before his years of playing a Jedi Knight, Alec Guinness sensed danger for James Dean.

"While filming The Swan (1956) in Hollywood, Alec Guinness he met James Dean, just days before the young actor's death. Sir Alec later recalled predicting that Dean would die in a car crash: when Dean showed Guinness his newly-bought Porsche, Guinness advised him to "Get rid of that car, or you'll be dead in a week!" Guinness unfortunately proved right.
At the time of his death, he was signed to play in "The Battler" on the "Playwrights '56" (1955) television series. The role went instead to Paul Newman.
'Rolf WeĆ¼therich', the German auto mechanic who was riding with Dean in the passenger seat during his fatal auto crash, was thrown from the car by the impact and received multiple injuries. After Dean's death, he fell into a depression from the trauma of the incident and made several suicide attempts. He died in Germany in 1981 in an auto accident similar to the one that James Dean died in." http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000015/bio#trivia
